Established in 1989 and based in Lismore, Northern Rivers Group Training (NRGT), a Division of Hunter Valley Training Company Pty Ltd (HVTC) a not-for-profit organisation has employed over 17,000 Australian Apprentices and have consistently succeeded national completion rates by in excess of 30%. NRGT provide group training services in the Northern Rivers Tweed region of NSW. NRGT operates from the Tweed in the north to Yamba in the south and west to the Great Dividing Range, and is the region’s leading Group Training Company with a core business of selection, induction and employment of Apprentices and Trainees, and their placement with selected Host Employers.
NRGT are responsible for recruiting the right person for the job, monitoring all aspects of the Apprentice and Trainee’s performance and training, responsible for all payroll and administration and assisting with safety systems and the ongoing monitoring of safety.

NRGT has a strong history of association with the Northern Rivers Tweed community and enjoys long term working relationships with North Coast Area Health Service both in Lismore and Tweed Heads.
